One standard for integrated hearing care software

HIMSA was created with the mission of designing one unified software standard for the hearing care industry. The result has been the NOAH software system, and the HI-PRO and NOAHlink programming interfaces.

NOAH, the de facto software standard for the hearing industry

Since its introduction to the international hearing industry in May 1994, the NOAH standard has proved a powerful force in driving the hearing care industry towards computerization.

The NOAH software system is designed to provide hearing care professionals with a system for performing their client-related tasks. The heart of NOAH is its "integration framework", supported by over 95 hearing care companies worldwide. This framework allows hearing instrument fitting, audiological measurement and office management systems to share a common database.

NOAH provides a de facto standard for controlling the exchange of data between these applications and systems.
