AURICAL Visible Speech includes wireless, binaural probe microphones, counseling wizards, and software for visualization of speech signals in the ear. The straightforward tool makes the fitting process both well structured and easy to understand resulting in a more efficient clinic workflow.

Intuitive Hearing Loss simulator

The Hearing Loss Simulator makes the AURICAL Visible Speech a strong tool for counseling patients and relatives on the effect of the hearing loss.

The built-in sound library provides an opportunity to demonstrate from a wide range of music and sounds, as well as from speech in both quiet and noisy environments. It also allows simulating the benefits of the hearing instruments as well as the effect of further change in hearing thresholds.

Advanced Hearing Instrument Simulator

The Hearing Instrument Simulator allows you to demonstrate the benefits of amplification to a patient who has never worn a hearing instrument before.

The simulator is an excellent alternative to using a stock hearing instrument for demonstration purposes. The system applies the NAL-NL fitting rule to the patient’s audiogram and simulates a hearing instrument while the patient listens to the signal through headphones.

Live Speech Mapping

The Speech Mapping module work together with the wireless neck unit. Together they ensure better fitting by using live sound/speech and real ear measurements. The easy-to-understand module makes the patients able to understand clinical recommendations and to take an active part in the process. As a result, AURICAL Visible speech guarantees improved clinical workflow and higher patient satisfaction, resulting in fewer returns.

The binaural neck unit communicates with the AURICAL Visible Speech software via Bluetooth® wireless technology using pre-calibrated intelligent probes. The small footprint and the wireless connection free up valuable space in the clinic and make it easy to use off-site.

Integrated into the OTOsuite™ Universe

AURICAL Visible Speech is an integral part of the OTOsuite™ software Universe – GN Otometrics’ shared universe for Immittance, Audiometry, Speech Mapping and Simulators.

Once you have connected your AURICAL Visible Speech and opened the OTOsuite universe, the entire patient handling can be performed conveniently within one framework. OTOsuite captures, consolidates, saves and shares patient measurement data so you can move freely from one work process to another. Benefits include a more efficient workflow; less time spent on training and combined reporting.
