A completely flexible system for VNG

The Video CNG Analyser System is a complete and flexible diagnostic system for recording, analyzing and reporting eye movements using video imaging technology.

The system is available in different configurations to suit individual requirements. The basic solution consists of two compact hardware units, one for power and one for analysis, which can be stacked on top of each other. Easy-to-use CNG Analyser Software (available in three versions see below) requires a Medical PC supplied by GN Otometrics and certified to meet all applicable medical standards.

Visual stimulation may be provided with:

• High-tech, comfortable video goggles with infrared cameras provide noise and drift-free eye position data. The goggles are supplied with a cover for dual-mode applications (see-through and vision-denied).
  
• The Video Target System a compact video projector for performing optokinetic, smooth pursuit and saccadic tests. Motion patterns and speed are variable.
  
• The Aquamatic and Airmatic caloric stimulators.
  
• Calibration bar.

Data acquisition and analysis

The VNG System requires the CNG Analyser Software, which is supplied in three versions for use with different configurations of vestibular test equipment:

• CNG Analyser software 2 Tests: spontaneous, caloric, user-defined tests (e.g. position and positioning).
• CNG Analyser software 3 Tests: same as CNG Analyser 2, with the following additions: optokinetic, smooth pursuit, saccadic and rotational chair tests.
• CNG Analyser software 4 Tests: same as CNG Analyser 3, but with 4-channel ENG module.
